Baby Limo review
When a new pram hits the market, I’m often one of the first people to hear about it. I’ve tested and reviewed many many prams in my time as a Mummy Concierge and I know how baffling and challenging choosing one can be. So, with my reviews I keep them nice and simple, with go to pros and cons that you can scroll through and decide if a product works for you.
The Baby Limo - A car seat, bassinet and pushchair in one
What is it: A new flash pram and travel system that will appeal to fashion conscious, city dwelling parents.
The positives
- It’s incredibly easy to use - whether you are slotting on the car seat or adding the bassinet to the main system, it is a simple and easy ‘click’ and it’s done! I even managed to put the bassinet onto the main frame with one hand!
- Well ventilated - The basinet and pram have a ventilated hood which means on hot summers days, you can protect your baby by pulling over the hood to see them i the shade, but you also don’t have to worry about them overheating because of the ventilated hood. It also has a handy little internal pocket where you can stash your mobile phone or dummy!
- Rockability! If you take the bassinet off the frame or the car seta out of the car, you can pop either of them onto a flat surface and it will rock - perfect if you are moving your baby from one location to the next and want to rock them to sleep
- The pushchair can be slotted onto the frame so that it can either face towards you to away from you
- The storage basket at the bottom of the pushchair is roomy and has a magnetic clip, so you don’t have to stress trying to fasten buttons or zips.
- The Baby Limo is incredibly comfortable due to its amazing suspension system – if you’re bouncing along rocky train your baby won’t feel a thing!
- It has an adjustable leather steering handle – which can be easily adjusted to suit any
height of any parent. Perfect if you are particularly tall or short
- The frame is incredibly lightweight and easy to collapse - i managed to fold it with one hand and pack into into the boot of my car easily. It also has Detachable wheels off you need it to squeeze into
 a small car boot space.
- If you’re a mummy who loves a coffee on the go then their coffee cup holder is genius in that it fits securely to
the steering handle. The central and rear suspension systems ensure a smooth ride for baby and your coffee cup contents.
- Baby Limo has an amazing Test drive option: Within 100 mile radius of Bournemouth, they will
deliver to your door and collect with absolutely no obligation to buy.- The negatives - The Baby Limo pitches itself as having a simple and stylish colour combination that compliments luxury brands such as Prada, Chanel and Gucci. For me personally, the white and black leather was a bit too much and certainly doesn’t work if you live in the countryside. I think the Baby Limo’s style is probably more suited to a city dwelling mother.
- You need to think about storage. If you buy the full travel system then you need to make sure you have somewhere to store the bits you’re not using - Conclusion - The Baby Limo certainly surprised me. At first I thought it was just a brand ‘attempting’ to fill a luxury void in the market but when I got down to the nitty gritty of testing it out, I realised the designers really had thought of everything. I think it will probably appeal to London living parents, over parents who live in the countryside (due to the look of it) but if you want a pram that really does tick a lot of boxes then I’d certainly recommend you book a test drive…..
